Biography

Dr. Anli Liu is an Associate Professor at NYU Langone Health and specializes in Epilepsy and cognitive disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer's disease. He treats adult patients and has dual board certifications in Epilepsy and Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Liu received his MD from the University of California, San Francisco, in 2006, and completed his residency in Neurology at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2010. His research focuses on understanding human memory and its failures associated with conditions like epilepsy and dementia. His lab develops tools for early diagnosis of memory impairments, examining the interplay between normal and disease-related events that influence cognitive function.
