Dr. Ann Asadoorian

Biography

Ann Marie Asadoorian is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Boston University Questrom School of Business. She has a rich academic background, having completed her MBA in Accounting from Suffolk University. Ann Marie began her career at Big 4 audit firms as a Senior Auditor before establishing her own Accounting and Tax firm with her husband, which they operated from 1990 until 2021. Since joining Boston University in 2005 as an Adjunct Lecturer, she was appointed a full-time Lecturer in 2021. Ann Marie also coordinates the Managerial Accounting course and teaches Financial Accounting and Intro Finance for non-business majors. Outside of her academic role, she has experience managing a business, specifically as the owner-operator of Concord Brewery in Lowell, MA, where she handled various business aspects including production and marketing. Ann Marie integrates her real-world experiences into her teaching, providing students with practical insights. She resides in Concord, MA, with her husband and has raised four children. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, biking, and running, and has a passion for Olympic distance triathlons.
