Dr. Ann Kruszewski

Biography

Ann Kruszewski is an Assistant Professor Emerita at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. With over thirty-five years of experience in nursing education, she has been significantly involved in curriculum development, including co-developing courses such as N672 Teaching Strategies in Nursing. Her primary focus has been on evidence-based practice (EBP), where she developed and taught courses in the BSN Traditional Degree Nursing curricula at the University of Michigan. Kruszewski has actively engaged in EBP projects within healthcare settings across the state of Michigan and has presented topics at local, state, and national levels. Over the last twenty-three years, she has taught Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice courses in the RN Studies program. As an educator, she emphasizes the importance of catering to the unique backgrounds of adult learners to enhance their educational experience. She values intellectual curiosity and believes that today's nursing graduates must embrace lifelong learning as nursing knowledge continues to evolve.
