Biography

Ann Thompson is a Clinical Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University, an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency from QEII Health Science Center, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado School of Pharmacy. Her clinical practice includes work at the University of Alberta Hypertension Clinic, where she teaches about hypertension management and precepts pharmacy students. Ann has guest lectured at various institutions and is involved in several courses aimed at developing critical thinking and practical skills in pharmacy students.
