Dr. Anna Arnal Estape

Biography

Anna Arnal Estape is the Director of the Office of Team Science at Yale School of Medicine. With over eleven years at Yale, she brings extensive knowledge of the institution's research environment, culture, and available grant opportunities. Previously, she held the role of Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Internal Medicine, focusing on the Section of Medical Oncology. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has coordinated large multi-project grant applications and fostered collaborative research teams. She has been involved in significant projects to enhance translational science, working closely with various departments to secure funding and support for research. Her academic journey began with a PhD from Universitat de Barcelona in Biomedicine, where she investigated oncogenic signaling in breast cancer. Her research has identified critical pathways in tumor progression and metastasis across various cancers, including prostate cancer and non-small cell lung cancer. Anna believes that successful scientific endeavors thrive in a collaborative environment and emphasizes the importance of interdisciplinary approaches to advance scientific understanding and innovation.
