Biography

Anna Hallén is a PhD student at Linköping University, specializing in the physiotherapy unit and working as a research coordinator for the Football Research Group (FRG). Her research focuses on injuries and health issues related to female professional football players. Hallén is currently investigating the epidemiology and characteristics of injuries and health issues among elite female football players, collaborating with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Previously, she obtained her Teacher’s degree focusing on upper secondary education and a Bachelor’s degree in public health science with a focus on physical activity, both completed in May 2006. She also holds a Master's in Medical Science from Linköping University, which she completed in August 2020. As of December 2023, she has been admitted as a PhD student at the university.
