Biography

Anna Hung is a pharmacist and health services researcher focusing on payer-patient decision making related to pharmacy benefits. She has collaborated with the Defense Health Agency to evaluate the budgetary impact of antidiabetic drug formulary changes and has worked with various managed care organizations to assess drug utilization and clinical management programs. Her methodological research interests include health care cost evaluations, quasi-experimental study designs, and stated preference research. Dr. Hung completed her Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Science, and Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Maryland, with a concentration in pharmaceutical health services research, pharmacoeconomics, comparative effectiveness research, and patient-centered outcomes research. Prior to her current role, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Duke Clinical Research Institute, where she served as Co-Chief Fellow.
