Dr. Anna Jonsson Cornell

Biography

Anna Jonsson Cornell is a Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law at Uppsala University, where she has been a faculty member for several years. She previously served as an Associate Professor of Constitutional Law and has held the position of Senior Lecturer in Comparative Constitutional Law. Her academic contributions include serving as the Research Director for the Uppsala Forum on Democracy, Peace, and Justice from 2010 to 2015. She has published works including titles such as 'European Police Criminal Law Cooperation' and 'Human Trafficking Human Security', and has served on various committees related to constitutional law and human rights. She is also a member of the International Association of Constitutional Law and has held multiple advisory roles, including with the Swedish National Police Board. Her current work focuses on comparative constitutional law and the development of human rights initiatives through her Human Rights Clinic within the Law Faculty.
