Biography

Anna Lund is a Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta. She holds a BA (Hons) and LLB from the University of Alberta, an LLM from the University of California, Berkeley, and a PhD from the University of British Columbia. Her research focuses on Bankruptcy Law, Insolvency, Debtor-Creditor Law, Civil Procedure, Access to Justice, and Housing. Lund's scholarship includes a wide array of publications on the intersection of environmental issues and insolvency law, as well as access justice for vulnerable populations. She is recognized for her teaching, having received the Provost’s Award for Early Achievement of Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching and the Faculty of Law's Tevie H. Miller Teaching Award for Outstanding Mentorship in Undergraduate Research. In addition to her academic work, she continues to practice law on a pro bono basis with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and serves on the editorial board of the Annual Review of Insolvency Law.
