Biography

Anna Madeleine Raupach is a multidisciplinary Australian artist and a 2024 Fulbright Scholar at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. She is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Art & Design at Australian National University. Raupach holds a PhD in Media Arts from the University of New South Wales, awarded in 2014. Her work emphasizes cross-disciplinary projects and has been showcased internationally through solo and group exhibitions. She has engaged in artist residencies with notable institutions including the Australian Network for Art Technology, Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris. Her research centers on experimental drawing, moving images, mixed reality, interactive installations, communication technologies, and time studies. In 2014, she produced her PhD thesis titled 'Crossed Wires,' focusing on the artistic investigation of sites that express the nuances of contemporary communication platforms.
