Biography

Prior to joining the Department of Accounting and Finance in 2009, Anna worked at the University of Melbourne where she taught Management Accounting at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She has held senior management positions in the travel and superannuation industries, working with both national and international companies. Additionally, she worked at Coopers Lybrand and is a qualified CMA and CPA. Anna completed her PhD at Monash University. Her research areas include behavioural accounting, managerial learning performance, simulated business learning effectiveness, cognitive style, balanced scorecard use, and financial incentives. Her research involves techniques such as eye tracking, cognitive mapping, and simulations. As of December 2022, Anna serves as the Industry Engagement & Research Impact Coordinator for the Department of Accounting at Monash Business School and is responsible for impact engagement initiatives. She is also a member of the Business & Economics Faculty Research Impact Subcommittee and participates in the Monash Business School Behavioural Lab Steering Committee.
