Biography

Anna Wang is an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She received her Bachelor of Science with Honors from the University of Sydney in 2009, followed by a Master of Science in Applied Physics and a PhD in Applied Physics, both from Harvard University in 2013 and 2016 respectively. After completing her PhD, she was a NASA Postdoctoral Program Fellow in Astrobiology at Massachusetts General Hospital from 2016 to 2018. Her research focuses on soft matter, biophysics, and the intersection of physics and chemistry to explore the fundamental principles of life and the origins of life on Earth.
