Biography

Anne-Claude Gingras is a Full Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto and a Senior Investigator at the Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute, Sinai Health. He holds the Canada Research Chair in Functional Proteomics and the Lea Reichmann Chair in Cancer Proteomics. With an extensive background in mass spectrometry-based proteomics, his research focuses on the study of signaling pathways and cellular organization through systematic approaches. He serves as the deputy editor for Molecular Cellular Proteomics and is co-director of the Network Biology Collaborative Centre. Throughout his career, he has published over 250 research articles, with citations exceeding 45,000, and he has received multiple awards including the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Functional Proteomics and the CSMB Jeanne Manery Fisher Memorial Lecture award in 2019.
