Biography

Anne-Kathrin Bock completed her Bachelor's degree in Linguistics at the University of Konstanz and a Master's degree in German as a Foreign Language at Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz. She has taught German at Tongji University in Shanghai and worked as a DAAD language assistant at the University of Palermo. Her research interests include didactics, language learning methodology, and she has been involved in the creation of teaching materials while working with the language publisher Hueber. In addition to her teaching roles, which include GE101: Writing, GE101: Comprehension & Composition, GE201: Conversation, GE201: Essay, GE401: Oral, and GE339: Exploring Zeitgeist, she has served as the Year 1 Language Coordinator. She is also a Personal Tutor who provides advice and feedback, encouraging students to arrange appointments through email.
