Biography

Anne-Marie Kermarrec is a Professor at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and the CEO of Mediego, a startup that offers content personalization services to online publishers. Previously, she served as Research Director at Inria in France from 2004 to 2015. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Rennes in France, Vrije Universiteit in the Netherlands, and Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK. Kermarrec has received several accolades including the ERC grant in 2008, the ERC Proof of Concept in 2013, the Montpetit Award in 2011, and the Innovation Award from the French Academy of Science in 2017.
