Biography

Anne-Marie La Rosa holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Laval University (1987), a Bar license from Quebec (1988), a graduate diploma in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (1990), and a Doctorate in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (2001). She has practiced international humanitarian law as a member of the legal division of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), specifically responsible for the ICRC's relations with international criminal jurisdictions. Previously, she worked for ten years with the International Labour Organization (ILO) in various capacities. Since September 1, 2011, she has been a lecturer at the Chair of Public International Law and European Law for the International Humanitarian Law Course.
