Dr. Anne Aggestrup

Biography

Anne Sofie Mosborg Aggestrup is currently a PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, affiliated with the Section for General Practice and the Mental Health Centre Copenhagen. Her doctoral research project, titled 'Preventing Relapse Depression Treatment Transferred Mental Health Services Primary Care' (DEPRIC), aims to develop a collaborative care model that integrates hospital psychiatry, general practice, social medicine, and job centers within municipalities to enhance recovery and prevent relapse in depression patients as they transition from psychiatry to primary care. This project emphasizes a participatory co-design process that engages stakeholders and patients through observations, interviews, focus groups, and workshops. She has also received funding from notable organizations, such as Tværspuljen and Helsefonden. Anne has a solid background in health sciences and has clinical experience as a nurse in both somatic and psychiatric wards. Her research interests focus on the development and evaluation of complex health interventions that promote holistic health outcomes. In addition to her research, she teaches medical students at the University of Copenhagen, specifically in the 'Early Patient Contact' course. Her prior roles include project coordinator for clinical randomized controlled trials and research assistant at the University of Southern Denmark.
