Anne Emmanuelle Berger is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University. She holds an agrégation in Modern Letters (1981) and a doctorate from the University of Paris VIII (1990). She also completed her habilitation to direct research in 1999. Her work has been published in numerous scholarly journals across Europe and North America.
