Dr. Anne Boustani

Biography

Anne Marie Boustani, MD, is a nuclear radiologist at Yale School of Medicine specializing in interpreting nuclear medicine images and treating patients with neuroendocrine tumors, thyroid, and prostate cancers. She completed her medical degree at the University of Toledo College of Medicine in 2009 after studying philosophy and art at Ohio State University and the University of Toledo. She furthered her education with a master’s degree in Medical Biological Illustration from Johns Hopkins University. Before joining Yale, Dr. Boustani worked as an illustrator and designer at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. Her current research interests focus on utilizing nuclear medicine techniques to diagnose and treat neuroendocrine tumors, aiming to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment outcomes. Dr. Boustani emphasizes the importance of patient interaction, taking time to listen to their concerns to provide better care. She resides in Woodbridge with her husband, also a radiologist, and their children.
