Biography

Anne Bunde-Birouste is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales in the School of Population Health, specializing in health promotion. Her research emphasizes the wide range of strategies in health promotion, particularly focusing on social determinants of health as platforms for analysis and action. She is committed to addressing health issues in fragile communities, understanding that good health is critical for societal resilience and enabling individuals to exercise their entitlements and rights. Her innovative approaches incorporate sports and arts, along with integrating traditional practices with western methodologies, especially in the context of mental health promotion.
