Biography

Anne Dutton is a mindfulness meditation instructor and psychotherapist at the Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and conducts ongoing research trials at Yale. With a master's degree in Buddhist Studies from Yale University and a master's in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University, Anne integrates her expertise in both Buddhist scholarship and clinical practice. She also holds a certificate in psychoanalytic psychology from the Western New England Psychoanalytic Institute. In addition to her work at Yale, she teaches at the Copper Beech Institute in Hartford and runs a private integrative psychotherapy practice in New Haven, Connecticut. Anne is a certified mindfulness teacher from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a yoga teacher certified by the Yoga Alliance, as well as a yoga therapist recognized by the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
