Dr. Anne Ford

Biography

Anne Cunanan Ford is an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University, specializing in general obstetrics and gynecology as well as women's health. She promotes preventive health measures and focuses on issues such as menopause, peri-menopausal transition, and vulvar dermatology. Dr. Ford completed her medical education at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, earning a B.A. and an M.D. Following her medical degree, she pursued residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Emory University. Throughout her career, she has been involved in numerous research initiatives, including the Menopause Registry and investigations into HER2 signaling networks in breast cancer. Dr. Ford has presented her findings at various national meetings and has served on multiple committees related to maternal and infant health. Her professional focus includes developing treatment options for menopausal symptoms and addressing disparities in health outcomes. Additionally, she is noted for her commitment to educating both peers and patients, as demonstrated through her many presentations and workgroup participations.
