Professor Dr. Anne Gonzalez

Biography

Anne Gonzalez is a pulmonary critical care physician with advanced training in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, holding a Master's degree obtained in 2009. With prior training in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine between 2007 and 2008, Dr. Gonzalez has dedicated her clinical practice to investigating patients with lung cancer. Her research focuses on improving outcomes through targeted lung cancer screening and the implementation of novel interventional pulmonary techniques such as advanced bronchoscopy and pleural procedures. She is also engaged in clinical research involving trials that emphasize innovative bronchoscopy methods, as well as collaborative efforts in health informatics related to tracking care pathways and utilizing health administrative databases for lung cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In addition, she contributes to evidence review and guideline development specific to lung cancer diagnosis and staging.
