Biography

Anne Lafarre is a full professor in corporate law and finance, serving as the Program Director for the Dutch Bachelor's specialization Master's degrees in Corporate Law at Tilburg Law School. She coordinates the research program 'Connecting Responsible Organizations' and is a member of the management team of the Private, Business, and Labour Law (PBLL) department at Tilburg Law School. In 2017, she earned her PhD with honors from Tilburg University. She was awarded the VENI research grant by the Dutch research organization NWO to study the role of shareholders in sustainable companies, with her research starting in autumn 2021. Anne's work focuses on topics related to corporate sustainability, sustainable corporate governance, sustainable finance, and global value chains (GVCs). Her research also includes elements of corporate sustainability due diligence, data analytics, empirical legal analysis, and topic modeling with statistical inference.
