Biography

Anne Sofie Cornelius Nielsen is a Research Fellow at the Australian National University, where her research primarily focuses on political communication and psychology. Her doctoral studies were conducted at the European University Institute, concentrating on the impact of individual attitudes. Currently, she is involved in an Australian Research Council-funded project that analyzes how interest groups frame policy requests, employing advanced methodologies such as natural language processing and experimental approaches. Her research interests encompass political communication, political psychology, and social psychology, particularly emphasizing the influence of social environments on individual attitudes and the subtleties of public and private expressions of these attitudes.
