Anne Ozdowska is a Research Fellow at the School of Computing at the Australian National University. She completed her PhD in Human-Computer Interaction at Queensland University of Technology in 2019. Her doctoral work explored application game design and Universal Design to promote the development of inclusive and accessible gameful technologies, leading to proof-of-concept software that was commercialized. Her current research focuses on the development and use of heuristics and litmus tests to understand the risks and opportunities of new designs. She is particularly interested in how expert heuristic evaluations can provide early insights into design limitations and help to focus on emerging requirements, thereby improving human-computer interactions.
