Biography

Anne Salamon is an Associate Professor in the Department of French, Hispanic & Italian Studies at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Her research focuses primarily on 15th-century French-language literature, with special emphasis on ecdotics, codicology, and material philology. She has published a critical edition of 'Traité des Neuf Preuses' by Sébastien Mamerot in 2016. Salamon's academic journey included eight years as an Assistant Professor at Université Laval, where she contributed significantly to the fields of Romance Philology and literature. In addition to her literary research, she is involved in critical discussions regarding language sustainability and transnationalism.
