Biography

Anne Seidlitz studied pharmacy at Greifswald and obtained her license as a pharmacist in 2003. From 2003 to 2005, she worked as a scientist and team leader in the galenics department at Arzneimittel Werke Altona AG in Hamburg. She returned to Greifswald University and received her Doctorate in Natural Sciences with a focus on Pharmaceutical Technology in 2009. In 2015, she earned a habilitation, also in Natural Sciences. Additionally, she is a Qualified Person according to the German Medicinal Products Act. Seidlitz has held substitute professorships in Hamburg and Jena, and was appointed full professor at the Institute of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics at Heinrich-Heine-University Düsseldorf in 2021. In 2024, she became a full professor in Pharmaceutical Technology at Freie Universität Berlin. Her main research areas include dosage form development, with a focus on 3D printed formulations and biorelevant dissolution testing of dosage forms. She is also a specialist pharmacist in Pharmaceutical Analytics Technology and supervises pharmacists in a continuing education program. Seidlitz is actively involved in various pharmaceutical networks such as APV and EUFEPS and is a member of the scientific advisory board of the German National Chamber of Pharmacists as well as the Medicinal Product Commission of German Pharmacists.
