Biography

Anne Tasaki is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She received her optometry degree and completed her residency in Pediatrics and Primary Care at UC Berkeley. Currently, she teaches fourth-year optometry students and mentors current pediatrics and primary care residents at the Pediatrics Primary Care Clinics. In addition to her academic role, she works as a pediatric optometrist at Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael. She has previously provided comprehensive vision care for preschool students in lower-income communities through the non-profit See Learn Program, aimed at preventing blindness in Northern California. Anne is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and has served as President of the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society. Currently, she serves as the COA-AOA Faculty Liaison and is a member of the Continuing Education Committee at UCBSO. In her free time, Anne enjoys hiking and trail running, as well as exploring new and interesting places to eat in the Bay Area.
