Anne Thies joined the School of Law as a Senior Lecturer in International and European Law in December 2022. Previously, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Reading, UK. She is a member of the German Society of International Law and serves as a reviewer for various publishing houses and the UCL Press Journals Committee. Anne is a qualified lawyer in Germany, holding an LLM from the University of London (LSE) and a Dr. iur. from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, Germany. She is also the Law School’s Early Career Development Programme Coordinator.
