Biography

Anne Tryba’s research examines the interplay of entrepreneurial education, individual and team cognition, emotions, competencies, motivations, and entrepreneurial pathways. She focuses particularly on the drivers of sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, academic entrepreneurship, and venture scaling. Additionally, she explores the role of hope and pedagogies in management and entrepreneurship education. Anne studied business administration at Technical University of Freiberg and gained industry experience as a strategy consultant at Capgemini Invent and as a senior manager in corporate marketing strategy at Telefónica Germany, where she was also a co-founder of a start-up. She earned her PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of Luxembourg in 2018 and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). From 2019 to 2023, she served as a professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Munich Business School, and in 2023, she was appointed Professor of Entrepreneurial Education at TUM.
