Biography

Annette Schrauwen holds the chair in European Integration, particularly citizenship law history, at the University of Amsterdam. She graduated in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam, where she also defended her PhD thesis on the concept of the internal market in European law. Schrauwen is an editor for 'Legal Issues of Economic Integration' and her main research focus is on migration and the EU concept of Union citizenship.
