Dr. Annie Baskaran

Biography

Annie Gilda Roselin Arockia Baskaran is a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She completed her Ph.D. in IoT Security from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where her thesis focused on 'End-to-End IoT Security: Authentication, Vulnerability Exploration, Data Analysis using Machine Learning.' Her research projects have centered around finding vulnerabilities in routing protocols and other aspects of network security, including authentication in Wireless Sensor Networks and intelligent anomaly detection using optimized deep clustering methods. Baskaran has demonstrated expertise in data science and cyber security, specifically in IoT security and vulnerability exploration. Her proficiency includes data analysis capabilities involving network traffic datasets and applying machine learning and deep learning techniques to build and test models.
