Biography

Anselm Schneider is an Associate Professor at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, with a Master's degree in economics from Freie Universität Berlin (2006) and a PhD in business administration from the University of Zurich (2014). Schneider's research focuses on corporate sustainability, exploring how business firms influence society and the natural environment, particularly in the context of global governance and sustainable development. He teaches organizational theory at both undergraduate and graduate levels, runs a course titled 'Business & Society,' and co-directs Bachelor's programs related to International Business and Business Ethics. Schneider's research has been published in leading journals including Journal Management Studies, Organization Studies, and Journal Business Ethics. His recent works investigate the intersection of corporate control and global business regulation, as well as alternative organizational forms aimed at improving corporate responsibility. He is currently involved in a research project funded by the Handelsbanken Research Foundation, collaborating with colleagues from Lund University to contribute to sustainable development. Schneider actively supervises Bachelor's and Master's theses and frequently gives guest lectures based on his research.
