Biography

Anthony Amadio is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo’s School of Pharmacy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Waterloo in 2011 and later earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia in 2014. He currently serves as the inpatient Pharmacy Manager at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener. Following his graduation from the University of Waterloo, he completed a hospital residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, and later obtained clinical experience as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Critical Care in Kelowna, BC. In his career, he has held various teaching roles, including Clinical Instructor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at UBC and has guest lectured on several courses at UW. His teaching includes courses such as PHARM 222, PHARM 252, PHARM 320, PHARM 326, PHARM 352, and PHARM 377. Anthony is dedicated to the advancement of clinical pharmacy, focusing on critical care and the patient experience.
