Anthony Bak Buccitelli is the Interim Assistant Dean for Graduate Programs and an Associate Professor in American Studies and Communication at Penn State University. He holds a Ph.D. in American New England Studies from Boston University and an M.A. in Folklore from the University of California, Berkeley. Currently, he is the Director of the Pennsylvania Center for Folklore and co-editor of the book series New Directions in the Study of Everyday Life, Past and Present, published by Berghahn Books. Buccitelli has published more than a dozen articles and book chapters in notable academic journals and publications.
