Biography

Anthony Centeno is currently a lecturer at the University of Glasgow, teaching on the Glasgow-UESTC joint programme. He joined the university in April 2020 after serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou. He has previously held academic positions at the Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT) in Kuala Lumpur, Imperial College London, South Bank University, and the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. With over 20 years of experience in applied electromagnetism, he holds both BEng and PhD degrees from Cardiff University and is a registered Chartered Engineer with the Engineering Council (UK). He is a member of the Institute of Physics (IoP) and the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), and he currently serves as an honorary visiting fellow in the Materials Department at Imperial College London.
