Anthony T. Marasco is a composer, sound artist, and instrument designer influenced by the aesthetics of today’s Digimodernist culture. His music installations showcase emerging technologies, highlighting creative flexibility by combining interactive sensor systems, cyber-hacked circuit-bent hardware, modular synthesizers, and tabletop sound computers. An avid builder and programmer, Marasco creates electronic augmented instruments and reactive generative audiovisual software. His research focuses on developing collaborative networked performance tools for electroacoustic music. He is a co-developer of Collab-Hub, a framework for remote performers to share control of virtual and tangible instruments via the internet, and the Bendit_I/O framework, which integrates old devices with new realities for telematic network art. Marasco's work has received support from the American Composers Forum and featured at top conferences in the music technology field.
