Biography

Anthony E. Mega is an Associate Professor of Surgery and a Clinician Educator at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is originally from Providence, RI, where he completed his undergraduate studies with a B.A. in Biology before attending Dartmouth Medical School for his M.D. After his medical education, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and further specialized in Hematology/Oncology at Brown. Dr. Mega has a strong commitment to medical education and serves as the Program Director for the Brown Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program. His professional interests center around medical education, genitourinary oncology, and international health. He is actively involved in the Brown University Oncology Group and chairs the Genitourinary Committee. Dr. Mega's teaching experience includes participation in a lecture series aimed at preparing Hematology/Oncology fellows and providing feedback to faculty and current fellows on the core curriculum.
