Biography

Anthony Niblett researches artificial intelligence, innovation, contract law, competition policy, and judicial behavior. He joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto in 2011, where he teaches courses on Contract Law, Torts, Competition Policy, Economic Analysis of Law, and Legal Methods. Niblett has also served as an Academic Advisor for the Future Law Lab and is a Faculty Affiliate Researcher. In 2019, he presented a TEDx talk focusing on machine learning in law. Prior to his academic career, he was a Bigelow Fellow at the University of Chicago. Niblett is a co-founder of Blue J, a start-up that utilizes AI to assist tax legal professionals.
