Biography

Anthony Taboni is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Government at the University of Texas at Austin. He studies American political institutions with a focus on judicial politics. His research explores how judges and litigants make decisions when faced with uncertainty. Combining formal theory and quantitative methods, Anthony investigates the relationship between courts and the decisions they ultimately make. His work is forthcoming in the American Journal of Political Science. Anthony received his Ph.D. from the Department of Politics at Princeton University in 2025 and holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Buffalo, which he obtained in 2019.
