Biography

Anthony G. Zeitouni graduated from the Sherbrooke Medical School and completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head Neck Surgery at McGill University. He furthered his training with a Master of Science degree in Otolaryngology – Head Neck Surgery and pursued additional fellowship training in Skull Base Surgery in Zurich. Since returning to McGill in 1995, he has been a strong advocate for interdisciplinary care, leading the development of clinics for Head Neck Cancers at the Royal Victoria Hospital and Skull Base Tumors at the Montreal Neurological Hospital. As the Medical Director of the Head Neck team, he has been instrumental in creating a strong supra-regional center for Head Neck Cancer. He co-led the Head Neck Cancer site at the Rossy Cancer Network and has pioneered surgical techniques that benefit patients in Montreal, particularly in endoscopic skull base surgeries. He is also a strong proponent of cochlear implantation, having developed numerous technology tools aiding patients and promoting psychosocial research. Dr. Zeitouni is actively involved in research and has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, contributing significantly to his field on both national and international platforms.
