Biography

Anton V. Dolzhenko received his Pharmacy degree (with Distinction) in 2000 and his PhD degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 2004 from Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy in Russia. He began his academic career in the Pharmacy Department at the National University of Singapore, where he worked for six years. In 2010, he moved to the School of Pharmacy at Curtin University in Australia, where he continued as a Senior Lecturer. In 2013, he joined the School of Pharmacy at Monash University Malaysia. His current research interests include the synthetic structural aspects of nitrogen heterocycles and the development of new synthetic methods for the preparation of potentially bioactive compounds. He holds expertise in the structural analysis of organic molecules and has extensive experience in organizing the NMR Campus Infrastructure Platform, providing high-quality service to internal and external customers. Dolzhenko is also recognized as an Inspiring Supervisor and is accepting PhD candidates for research projects in organic medicinal chemistry.
