Johannesburg-born Anton Nel is a distinguished pianist and chamber musician. He holds the Joe R. Teresa Lozano Long Endowed Chair at the University of Texas at Austin and serves as Division Head of Keyboard Studies. A graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand and the University of Cincinnati, he has worked with renowned instructors including Adolph Hallis, Bela Siki, and Frank Weinstock.
