Biography

Antonio Cimino obtained his PhD in philosophy from the University of Pisa, Italy. He is an alumnus of the Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa and has been a Humboldt research fellow. His research has taken place in Pisa, Tübingen, Freiburg im Breisgau, Wuppertal (Germany), and Fribourg (Switzerland). His main research fields include the history of contemporary European thought, as well as the reception of ancient philosophy in modern and contemporary contexts.
