Dr. Antonio Cruz

Biography

Antonio P. Cruz is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Brown University, where his research primarily focuses on both surgical and non-surgical management of skin cancer. He has authored several influential publications in his field, including studies on Mohs micrographic surgery and its associated techniques. His work has demonstrated improvements in aesthetic and functional outcomes in lower extremity wound closures, and he has contributed to important insights regarding the characteristics and management of various skin cancers. Dr. Cruz is actively involved in educating medical students and residents about dermatologic surgery and skin cancer treatments. He is an associate member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, and he holds fellow status with the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. His background includes a medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Bachelor of Science degree.
