Biography

Antonio Cuyler is a Professor of Music at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance, specializing in Music Entrepreneurship and Leadership as well as serving as a Faculty Associate for Voice & Opera and African Studies. He founded Cuyler Consulting, LLC, to help cultural organizations enhance community engagement and foster inclusivity. Antonio previously held faculty positions at notable institutions and was the first Black man to earn promotion and tenure in Arts Administration in the U.S. He has received several prestigious awards for his contributions to arts education and diversity in the arts.
