Dr. Anurag Anshu

Biography

Anurag Anshu is an Assistant Professor at the Harvard Quantum Initiative within the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. He previously worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at the University of California, Berkeley, and also as a joint postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Quantum Computing at the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo. Anshu obtained his PhD from the Centre for Quantum Technologies at the National University of Singapore. His research interests lie at the intersection of quantum complexity theory, quantum many-body physics, quantum communication, and quantum learning theory, where he explores the intricate interplay between computation and physics, aiming for a deeper understanding of these fundamental concepts.
