Dr. April Brown received her B.S.E.E. from North Carolina State University in 1981. She completed her M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. at Cornell University in 1984 and 1985, respectively. She has been recognized as a Fellow of the American Physical Society in 2011 and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in 1998, and received the Paul Rappaport Award from the IEEE Electron Devices Society in 1992.
