Dr. Aqib Siddiqui

Biography

Aqib Siddiqui is a Fellow at the Department of Management, specializing in Management Information Systems and Innovation at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is currently completing his PhD in Management Information Systems at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. His research utilizes machine learning methodologies to address challenges in Information Systems, with a focus on understanding the digital maturity of children. He has developed algorithms to determine levels of digital maturity across different age groups, applying machine learning techniques and incorporating explainable AI techniques to ensure transparency and interpretability. His work also extends to data governance, examining the policies formed under the EU Data Act. Besides his doctoral research, Aqib has taught as an Adjunct Professor at IE Business School and has contributed to designing and delivering courses on information systems research methods. His background in consulting brings practical insights into the study of technology and digital transformation.
